2 mentionable pdf readers for ubuntu

pdf reader

There are a lot of pdf readers available for ubuntu;  evince, kPdf etc. The 2 noteworthy pdf readers i will be mentioning here are : Foxit reader and Adobe reader. Each has its pros and cons and the choice depends on your interest, inquisitiveness and productivity consciousness.

If you want a simple,light-weight and fast loading application, i recommend Foxit reader. However if you prefer a reader with good rendering and quality, i suggest Adobe reader which releases an updated .deb version for Ubuntu corresponding to its Windows  equivalent, as opposed to Foxit.

Try it yourself :

Download the .deb Foxit reader package  for Ubuntu  here (3.4 MB approx).

Download Portable Foxit Reader for Linux/Ubuntu here .

Download Adobe Reader for Linux here (43MB approx).
