No longer do you need to buy a customised language keyboard or waste time searching for the correct fonts on the on-screen keyboard. Google IME(Input Method Editors) is a free software offered by Google and it lets you type words in the Indian languages. Enough said! Xournal is an application for notetaking, sketching, keeping a journal using a stylus. It is free software (GNU GPL) and runs on Linux (recent distributions) and other GTK+/Gnome platforms. It is similar to Microsoft Windows Journal or to other alternatives such as Jarnal, Gournal, and NoteLab.
