Project Management … in a nutshell

A new vacuum cleaner salesman knocked on the door on the first house of the street.. A tall, mid-aged lady answered the door.
Before she could speak, the enthusiastic salesman barged into the Living Room
and opened a big black plastic bag and poured all the cow dung (droppings) onto the carpet.

Madam, if I could not clean the mess up with this new, excellent and powerful Vacuum cleaner, I will EAT all this shit! exclaimed the eager salesman.

Do you need chili sauce or ketchup with thatasked the lady.
The bewildered salesman asked,Why, madam?

There’s no electricity in the house…said the lady.

MORAL: Gather all resources before working on any project and committing to the client…!!!

Cameron is back!

I was one among the million who were disappointed that Jameron Cameron went home empty handed after the Oscars, but now there is a reason to console myself. Yes! the 1997 worldwide blockbuster and record creator Titanic is to be remade in 3D.This new version would hit the cinemas in 2012 to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of the Titanic disaster.Cameron is planning  to add additional footage and something creative to this new version.
Eagerly awaiting it 🙂

Survival of the “Darwin”

Charles Darwin (12 February 1809 – 19 April 1882)

Survival of the fittest ” , a phrase popular among every educated person . And no hints are needed to guess the genius who coined it . Charles Darwin is celebrating his 200th birthday this year and his findings still revolutionise researches related to evolution .The entire scientific community—the AAAS, the National Academies of Science, Nature Publishing, the UK’s Wellcome Trust—is celebrating Darwin this year.

Theologists and rationalists still stand divided over theprincipal of evolution by natural selection and the origin of manproposed by Darwin.Biological science is very clear about the capability of a pregnant lizard to smell its enemy from a distance. It can mutate the genes of the offspring inside to give it the capacity to smell its enemy from a much longer distance. Isn’t this contrary to what Darwin said in the survival of the fittest theory?asked Prof B M Hegde, cardiologist. But Dr Kumarasamy Thangaraj, senior scientist, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, said the progress made in genetics over the past 50 years were in line with Darwin’s predictions about evolution.

The church even today negates the evolution theory.Even if one accepts the theory of evolution, it does not exclude divine intervention in the process of creation of the universe,” said Dr Paul Thelakkat, a church spokesman. Dr S. Gokul Shankar, a micro-biologist, said Dasavatharam, the 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu, represented the theory of evolution.

Anyway , giving a twist to Darwin´s own words , its “survival of Darwin”.Yes the name still survives in all researches related to evolution of mankind .
